There has been a great deal of archaeological discoveries made in this area because of the large Roman community that existed under the modern town. This museum is recognised as offering one of the largest and the best collections of artefacts that have been dug up anywhere in Belgium. Well preserved and properly put in context, these pieces tell us a great deal about the world as it was.
