David ‘t Kindt was the chief designer who put this fantastic structure together and made one of the best looking buildings in this area of the city. The interesting collection has many treasures within it that are associated with the arts and literature movements of the locality. Nobel Prize-winner Maurice Maeterlinck’s library is contained within the museum as well as pieces of art and furniture from some of the most famous artists of the 18th and 19th Centuries.
