This beautiful building was the very first to be designed and built by one of the most famous sons of the area Victor Horta. The construction was completed in 1893 and is one of the most important buildings in the modern Belgian architectural historical story. A key touchstone in the Art-Nouveau trappings of the city, this building was the first of many to be designed in this way.
