This chapel is an important part of the ecclesiastical history of the city. Although a relatively simple church, it does have some nice architectural features which are worth a look. However, it is well known because of the phial that is contained within the building. It is said that the vessel has the actual blood of Jesus Christ in it and was taken back from the Crusades. With such a prize on offer, it is no wonder that so many visit the site.
