There has always been a relatively large Jewish population in Belgium and in Antwerp particularly you will see a large amount of Orthodox Jews in their traditional dress. This centre offers half synagogue and half museum, open to the public throughout the year. The museum offers an interesting historical look at the life of the Jewish people in this area of the world and their work in Belgium.
