This 15th Century mansion house is one of the most recognisable and well-loved architectural features at the very heart of the city. It was built by Pieter Bladelin, a well known and respected architect of the time and treasurer to Duke Philip the Good. The Medici Bank took over the property in the latter years of the century and gave it an Italian look which has remained until today.
