This huge green area is situated to the west of the centre of Gent and is a popular place for local people and visitors to go if they want to experience of the countryside in this area of Belgium. Offering a fine array of animals and birds that feed on the native plants, the park is a great place to go for a stroll or play a game. In the summer the area fills up with people enjoying picnic lunches out in the sun.
