This is one of the most famous and recognisable buildings in the city, a vast cathedral, made from grey stone, and towering above the surrounding secular buildings. It is thought that the cathedral dates back to around the 13th Century, and the main choir is from this time. Many additions were made throughout the ages, notably the 16th Century naïve and of course the huge and brilliant central tower.
