The City Promenade is probably the most beautiful street in the town. Partially on a small bridge that would have acted as a defensive entrance to the town at one stage, the promenade is wonderfully decorated, a real exhibition of the best of the region. There are plants and beautiful pieces of architecture along the promenade, and in the high summer season processions and festivals centre around the area.
