De Mik Castle is a beautiful piece of architecture that is many hundreds of years old, but largely has been preserved as a monument to the military heritage of the town. Complete with working drawbridge, the castle casts a shadow over the town, and is probably one of the most visited and most recognisable pieces of architecture for miles around.
