Originally established by an Austrian Ettore Sottsass in 1917, this museum was put together as a celebration of innovation and design. Throughout the 20th Century the collection grew and expanded, taking in the works of many local and international designers. Today, visitors are treated to one of the finest collections of its type in the Low Countries and the museum has a reputation for excellence which is known across the world.
