The Folklore Museum is dedicated to the social history of the people of the city, rather than the massive political and economic changes that have occurred. Of course all of these factors are interlinked, but this collection tries to focus on the way that the normal citizen’s life has changed. Their clothes, their work, their wealth; all of these things are addressed.
