King Leopold I instructed the young architect Jean-Pierre Cluysenaars to turn Rue Saint-Hubert into an arcade. This is exactly what he did, creating this most intimate of shopping environments which has been divided up into King’s Street, Queen’s Street and Prince’s Street. Surrounded by great theatres and places to eat, this is one of the most exciting gallerias in the city.
