Built between 1929 and 1932, the KBC Tower is considered to be the first skyscraper to be constructed in Europe. It is a dominant force in the centre of Antwerp and is one of the most recognisable and easy to see man made structures in the area. Designed in an Art-Deco style, the tower is a beautiful monument to Flemish architecture and the visions that the nation has always had of combining architectural prowess with artistic beauty.
