Leon Suys was the well known architect who was charged with the task of building this fantastic building at the heart of Brussels in 1873. Situated on a new boulevard that connects the north and south train stations, the fine construction is in the Classical style and is by far one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. In front of the building are many sculptures that celebrate the importance of Brussels as a financial and cultural centre.
