An example of Horta’s slightly later work, this is one of several pieces of architecture that can help us to follow the changes in style across Belgium and Europe at the start of the 20th Century. Victor Horta invented Art-Nouveau and with it changed the design methods of this area forever. This fine building, from 1905, shows Horta already starting to move away from his traditional Art-Nouveau roots, constantly reinventing himself.
