The building in which this great contemporary art gallery stands was built n 1892 and spent the best part of a hundred years functioning as a working abatori at the heart of Brussels. In 1984 it opened as a gallery, specialising in showing the works of young and emerging contemporary artists. There is also a large collection of posters in the building, including 28 by Toulouse Lautrec.
