Notre Dame Church is one of the most important pieces of architecture in this community, towering above most of the smaller secular structures that surround it. Built in 1227, the church is a truly fantastic piece of Romanesque architecture, majestic and grand, unlike most more simple churches in this area of Belgium. Reflecting in the river, the church is quite the sight to behold.
