The Olympic Stadium is a large venue in the heart of the city. The magnificent piece of early 20th Century architecture was originally constructed for the Summer Olympic Games which were held in the city in 1920. After some modern improvements, the stadium is still in use and is the home football ground for the well known domestic side KFC Germinal Beerschot.
