Pont Saint Nicholas is one of the most well loved and most recognisable features of the local area, and stands as a symbol of the small community. Built in 1740, it elegantly arches over the River Semois, providing n easy crossing point for the people of the village. Several water control systems and turbines were fitted at one stage to make the bridge a barrier against flood.
