The Post Office is a beautiful piece of civil architecture and was built in 1907. Offering a great example of the techniques that were being used at this time, many forget that Belgium was at the forefront of architectural practice around this time, with Art Nouveau taking off, and originally being developed in the country by the world famous Victor Horta.
