This splendid cathedral is one of the main centrepieces of the city centre and has a history that dates back to 1500, when Holy Roman Emperor Charles V christened the new structure. There are various different styles of architecture on show, ranging from the Romanesque crypt, to the high and late Gothic parts on the exterior. As a visitor you cannot help but enjoy your time wandering through this fine building.
