This church is perhaps the finest example of Scheldt Gothic architecture anywhere in Belgium and was built in the 13th to the 15th Centuries. The amazing piece of ecclesiastical building work is one of the most wonderful that one will find anywhere in Flanders, towering above the surrounding buildings and offering a great place of worship and interesting place to visit. The church has interesting internal windows and carvings.
