Tsar Nicholas II and the victims of the Russian Revolution were honoured when this structure was constructed in the mid to late 1930s. The church is a beautiful modern example of Russian Orthodox design and stands proudly in the heart of the Belgian capital. There is a large Russian population that lives and works here, so the church is well used by them and the many visitors to the area.
