The Belle Almshouse Museum is located in the chapel of an almshouse that was founded in 1276, close to the Grote Markt. The original building was rebuilt after the First World War and as many of the original features were saved as possible. The museum is filled with exceptional items and treasures such as paintings and artefacts that have a link to the community.
