This area of the world was ravaged during the Second World War, and in fact the town fell and was recaptured on several occasions in the mid 1940s, as well as playing a key part in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. This museum is dedicated to tracing the military battles that took place in this area of the world, and examining how they unfolded.
