Since 1999 the belfry in the market square has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and when you see the magnificent structure you will be under no question why. The first stone was laid in 1547 and because of various wars of religion, took a significant amount of time to finish. However, the result in the end is this spectacular and dominating tower.
