Stemming from the 13th Century Benguige movement, this series of about forty small and beautiful houses were built close to the main church in the 17th Century. The idea was to remove ones self from society and live a pure and spiritual lifestyle. Today, there is still one Benguige living here, but mainly you will be in awe of the history and architecture on display.
