The Chateau of Ouffet is one of the most important and historically dominant pieces of architecture in the community. Playing a pivotal role as a place of defence and one of safety for the local nobility, the chateau was originally constructed in the 13th Century. Damaged and rebuilt and renovated on many occasions, that which one can see now is a hybrid of much newer castle structures.
