The English Military Cemetery is well visited by veterans and their families from the United Kingdom. This marks the many men who were lost fighting in this area in the First World War. Some of the bloodiest battles of the conflict took place in Belgium, and these brave men are not forgotten by the eight hundred plus memorials that stand in place.
