This forest surrounds the community and is one of the best loved natural features of this fantastic area of the countryside. It is well protected, and offers varieties of plant and in turn bird and animal that otherwise may have trouble surviving here. If you travel quietly through the forest you will probably be treated to a variety of the animals on offer.
