The Garthuisstraat is certainly a street that is worth a look. A road that was built by the Romans, it features some of the most impressive ancient buildings in the town, many of which have been excellently preserved. It is like taking a step back in time as you walk upon this road that used to travel between Boulogne and Aardenburg via Cassel.
