Keizersberg Abbey is of the Benedictine order and dates from the 19th Century. It was originally founded as a study house for monks of the area, but soon developed into an abbey, swallowing up some of the surrounding land to be extended. It offers a fine looking piece of architecture from its time, and although simple is still majestic in style.
