Taking place in the shadow of the Menin Gate, the Last Post Cermemony is one that has been taking place everyday at 8pm in this community since the 1920s. It is a commemoration of those who were lost during the Second World War on these battlefields, and a celebration of the bravery of these people. A solemn ceremony, it is a popular spectacle amongst visiting veterans and other tourists.
