Jan Fabre is recognised as a great artists in this area of Belgium and has sold works across the world. The statue ‘Looking for Utopia’ was commissioned in order to fill a spot on the main promenade during the open air exposition of 2003. It was so well loved by the people of the community that it has been left in place and forms a permanent feature.
