The pleasure port is one of the best loved features of the city of Oostende, a Belgian seaside town that is today perhaps most famous for its ferry port. At one time this would have been a very busy fishing port, and still today is home to many regular trawlers. However, the fishing boats are increasingly being matched by the number of small launches and yachts that park around the port.
