Religious art works are everywhere in this great museum at the heart of the city. There was of course a great movement amongst painters in the Lowlands which is still prevalent today, but like a lot of early Renaissance art, the religious icons were a main target of the art. This collection of art, iconry and sculpture is a fascinating place to browse for an afternoon.
