Saint Catherine’s Church has always been the more working class of the great churches in the centre of the city. The Gothic style on the outside is relatively simple and has that sober edge that the less grand Gothic buildings do tend to. Inside, although the decorations are good, they have been toned down from some of the more elaborate and showy churches of the area.
