This church is one of the main centrepieces of the town, and was installed as the main place of worship in 1782 after several years of building work. The fantastic neo-Classical tower was added in a second wave of building on the church in 1860. The fantastic example of local architectural prowess is something to behold, attracting visitors throughout the year.
