St. Gertrude’s Abbey was constructed between the 13th and the 15th Century. It has a late Gothic tower that is one of the more dominant sights in the city. A great deal of the interior of the church was added up to the 17th Century, and it is beautifully decorated, with style and grace, as you would expect from a church of such grandeur.
