The First Tower of Justice was put in place at the heart of the community in 1124. This fantastic piece of architecture sadly did not survive the many fights and wars that have ravaged through the area and several pieces of good looking architecture have replaced the original item. It is thought that the latest tower is predominantly from the early 18th century tower which built on the foundations of that from the 16th Century.
