The town belfry stands as the oldest of its type in the whole of Belgium and has since 1999 been classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is open to the public and after climbing the 257 internal steps you will be treated to one of the most phenomenal views anywhere in the country. The building is exquisitely crafted both inside and out.
