The Bloemekensgang is situated directly adjacent to the main market square and gives the feel for the visitor that you are walking through a brilliantly preserved medieval gallery of houses. This just isn’t the case in fact! The area was constructed in 1978 around the historic stables of the area, and was simply designed to stay in keeping with these old relics; a brilliant place to stroll through.
