The Cloth Hall is one of the more elegant and recognisable buildings at the very heart of this community. Built over two years between 1610 and 1612, the excellent piece of architecture dominates the local area. The courtyard at the centre was the place where the merchants used to bring their products and sell them on to those waiting in the surrounding galleries.
