The Forest of Stavelot is a large expanse of woodland that surrounds the town and has stood for many generations as not only a beautiful area, but a protective entity for the community. The forest is home to a variety of interesting birds and animals, and if you carefully approach the forest through the pathways then you will hopefully see some of these creatures.
