Gasthiszusters Sint-Elisabeth was a former mansion of Versteylyn-Dufour. You can see the scroll at the entrance way that has the initials on them, marking the ownership. The fantastic structure is one of the best examples of a private mansion in the city and was the architectural work of PJ Taeymans, a prolific designer in the city, completed in 1892.
