One of the finest pieces of architecture anywhere in the city, the Hermitage has a history that dates back to 1789. The grand house and grounds are a good place to visit if you want to get a feel for how the great and the good might have lived in times gone by. Many changes were made to the building in the 20th Century, but the essence still remains.
