Het Landhuis is the former country residence of the castle of Veurne. It is thought to have been constructed in around 1620 and displays an excellent Renaissance style that really lights up the central area of the city in the main market. The building is rather unusual in that it employs the use of rocks rather than bricks, giving the façades a certain unevenness.
