The Kij-Uit houses were built in the 15th and the 16th Century. They are without a shadow of a doubt some of the finest and best preserved examples of civil architecture from this period anywhere in the country. As a visitor you can be forgiven for thinking that you have stepped back in time as you travel through this brilliant street of the past.
