Turnhout enjoys a connection with playing cards that it has held for many hundreds of years, since the 19th Century entrepreneur PJ Brepols decided to begin marketing the item in the city. This museum has been open since 1969 and is home to a massive collection of playing cards that range in age and theme are extremely interesting to look at.
